Overview

Whose feet will the embroidered jootis fit? Will genda try the colorful ghaghra? Who will wear the majestic pink pagri?

Lion and his friends are making a trip to the bazaar to pick their favorite Indian outfits. Are you ready to play dress up with them and try on lots of colorful clothes?

Pagdi for Sinh is a humorous, bilingual story told in rhyme that introduces young readers to Hindi and English vocabulary for clothes and wild animals from the Indian subcontinent.

A great way to introduce kids to new vocabulary, it can be read aloud to toddlers and preschoolers (2–4 year olds) or read independently by emerging readers (4–7 year olds).
