About the Author

Wander Antunes was born in 1966 in Brazil. After working in advertising and cinema, he devoted himself to comics, his true passion. In 2005, he wrote the comic book Big Bill est mort for the artist Walther Taborda, published by Paquet (Blandice collection), a work that won him the Marlysa prize at the Chambéry International Comic Book Festival. Wander Antunes continues to write a number of comics for the same publisher, and his work has been noticed on many occasions, including L'Œil du Diable, which won the prize for best narrative book at the Festi BD de Moulins. His latest publication, The Man Who Corrupted Hadleyburg, is based on the eponymous short story by Mark Twain published in 1899.
