Koda's Special Lesson is a story of a little Kermodoe bear that saunters out from his mother's den as spring
is awakening. After seeing his mother and sister Kala in daylight for the very first time, Koda realizes he different than them. Very different! Koda feels sad. His mother tries to comfort him with love and encouragement. Each night Koda prays that he can be just like his mother and Kala. Soon summer comes to an end. Koda's mother must teach her cubs a very valuable lesson before winter. Koda listens and watches closely. lt is not long before Koda understands what his mother had been telling him all along.
