About the Author

Stephanie A James (1991-Present) was born in Englewood, Colorado and raised in Littleton, Colorado. She is currently a student at the University of Northern Colorado pursuing a degree in Communications and Psychology. In her spare time she likes to play basketball, travel and bake. The children's book, "Let's be Friends" is her first book she co-wrote. She originally wrote this story when she was in Kindergarten and became edited over time as she got older. She wants to inspire
other young children to write.

Kay M Blackman (1955-present) was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, and raised in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.A. in Fine Arts. She has won awards for her watercolors and photography. The children's book "Let's be Friends" is her first book she co-wrote and illustrated. She also has written couple of screenplays. She continues to write and work on her photography.
