About the Author

Michael and Patricia Fogden are photographers, authors and former research scientists specialising in documenting the natural history of Neotropical rainforests. Their photographs have appeared in numerous calendars and books, and in 2008 they received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA). Now based in Norfolk, UK, Patricia and Michael lived in Costa Rica for many years, documenting the wildlife of one of the most biodiverse places on Earth.
