Danyel Depth aka Stacya Dismuke is God's masterpiece all rolled up into one. My first and middle name stand alone with its meaning 'God will judge' and 'resurrection' combined just lets you know the purpose in which my life has been called. Writing "Lord, I am Trying", the thirteenth book I've written and published, brought about some challenges throughout my life and writing became the source of my healing. I began writing at an early age but was unsure of my path until I got older and started making mistakes of my own. I went from being told I was a mistake to understanding the lies of the enemy. Every child born is purposed to be here for however long in God's will or we would simply not exist, but since we do exist there must be purpose for that existence. My journey has been just that; to keep trying and walk the path designed by God for my Life.
I published my first book in not thinking about how well it was written, I just wanted to get rid of the fear and publishing with mistakes was a must. I didn't want to lose my nerve and the criticism taught me what I needed to improve on since fear was conquered first. The feedback from my first and second book was good, but I needed to improve so I began taking classes at CCU (Colorado Christian University) to make sure readers saw my progression as a writer. Life is about progression and the proof of it needs to be seen by all as this gives people a sense of hope in pursuing the vision that God has set in your life. If I allowed fear to decide my fate, I would not be an author or licensed publisher today!
