About the Author

George entered the window cleaning business in 1986 as strictly a small family business. However, as Las Vegas grew so did the company and soon he was in the high-rise window cleaning business. With his casino experience and background in management and engineering, he soon acquired contracts on the majority of high-rise buildings in southern Nevada. Expanding the business meant designing and fabricating new equipment, developing new techniques and hiring more help. However, there was a shortage of competent help, so he took inexperienced applicants and trained them to be window cleaners, and the majority of his former employees are still in the business, and owe their careers to his training. In 1992, George and Michael Omalia published the first book on window cleaning, "Beginners Guide to Window Cleaning". George also owned a large window cleaning supply company, and after retiring in 2005, he realized that, with all the new equipment and techniques that have been developed over the years, it was time for a new book on window cleaning.
