When the gods from Greek mythology returned to the world, everyone was shocked. But that was over 15 years ago. Since their return and outing the magical communities, life went back to normal for most people. I never actually cared about the gods because none of their frivolous activities ever affected me. Other than giving me a job in a roundabout way, I guess. But that's because I'm a supernatural slayer. I slay the things that go bump in the night. In other words, creatures the gods outed to the world. But I have my own reasons why I hunt them. Reasons that have nothing to do with any gods. Other than twice a year, I couldn't care less what the gods do. The only reason I even remotely care then is because on the solstices we are ALLexpected to make an offering. Which is basically just an excuse to take a day off from our mundane lives and party. This I had no problem getting behind. Or at least I didn't until after the Yule celebration that forever changed my life. The one where after an one-night stand, my very much still living ass was sent to Hell. Hell, not the underworld. For years before the gods changed all our lives by showing us that monotheism (believing in one god) was utterly wrong. There is no denying the existence of these gods and goddesses when they are right there in your face. But here's the thing... They never bothered to change Hell back to the underworld. Why?
