Overview

Despite my very obvious eccentricities, I have not completely lost touch with my family members. We have so much time and opportunity, and when we think about it, we realize that the world of dogs is a wonderful world in every way. Besides us dogs, there are many poor, silent, small, stupid creatures that do not speak, and make strange noises at most. Many of us teach dogs by calling them by name first. They try to help them, teach them and respect them. As for me, I don't care about them at all as long as they don't bother me. I mix them up and ignore them.

About the Author

He died in 1924, before completing any of his full-length novels. At the end of his life, Kafka asked his lifelong friend and literary executor Max Brod to burn all his unpublished work.
