Robert Anton Wilson (born Robert Edward Wilson; 1932¿2007) was an American author, novelist, essayist, editor, playwright, poet, futurist, psychologist, and self-described agnostic mystic. Among Wilson’s most popular books are his Prometheus Rising and Cosmic Trigger series. But he remains best-known for the cult classic Illuminatus! Trilogy.
