Overview

This heartwarming memoir told from the perspective of a special shelter dog offers 40 insightful lessons on overcoming challenges, finding joy, being your authentic self, and pursuing your passions.

Ella, a spunky, adventurous, German Shorthaired Pointer mix was Carrie's sidekick for over 15 transformative years that included dating multiple guys until finding the right one, two knee surgeries, a heart attack at 31 years old, starting a business, and moving to the mountains. They were soul mates brought together by fate.

Ella's ability to influence those around her with her soulful brown eyes earned her the title of Queen of the household. Ella kept everyone on their toes with her antics and innovative ways to obtain food at all costs. Her struggles with degenerative myelopathy in her later years provided lessons in determination, adaptability, and appreciation of the simple things in life.

Pawsitive Perspectives is a love story, a manual for living life to the fullest, and an example of the profound human-animal bond.
