The most beautifully described garden in the English language. Fusion of intensely personal mystical and sensuous/emotional experience. Fascinated by words and their connotations. Anglican in temper, but very individual. Far more concerned with actual experience than with doctrine. Her poems repay many re-readings.Quietly humorous, but never cute - can spring breathtaking surprises.
