Clifford E Urquhart has been a family historian and favours the telling of the true story. This book is based upon the history of his Grand Father during WW1 and the years that followed. The author has published for his sporting organisation sports reports as publicity officer and produced a documentary on his early family origins on their migration to Australia and focuses on early Australian History. He has served in the Australian defence force and afterwards began a long career in sales. A keen sportsman who has played the Olympic Sport of Hockey from the tender age of eleven representing his State. He is a Great Grandfather and cares full time for his disabled wife of forty five years.
