About the Author

The author holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Singapore. He is presently associated with the Governing Bodies of GITAM and ICFAI Societies.
For three decades he was an academic at the National University of Singapore (1967-78, 1985-2001 and 2009-2011). He worked as an Economist at the World Bank (Washington and Jakarta) for 6 ½ years (1979-85). Prior to going to Singapore, he was a management researcher at TISCO Jamshedpur (1963-67); Statistician, Census Office, Hyderabad (1962-63); Research Fellow, Demographic Centre, Bombay (1961-62); Research Assistant, Andhra University (1960-61); and Special Tutor, M R College, Vizianagaram (1959-60).
He authored/co-authored several books, papers, and monographs. He contributed a little over hundred columns in print media.
His consultancy clientele included Singapore Airlines, IBM–Singapore, International Development Research Centre (IDRC)–Canada, UNESCAP, the World Bank and most recently Asian Development Bank (ADB), Manila.

That all the accomplishments and achievements were the direct result of Dependence on the Divine is the core message of this book
