Dark Night

It started with Maxine irritating her teacher. It ended with everyone running away . . . on a dark night. And what seemed like a typical day at the Christian summer camp, turns into danger when Maxine and her friend discover a creepy note. A killer's note. Why isn't the park officer worried about it?

Maxine got laughed at when she shared her beliefs in front of the class. Although she felt rejected, she reminded herself that the joy of the Lord is her strength.

Someone said the camp is under a curse because the leaders are teaching iniquity. And one attempt to rescue a friend's life throws Maxine out the window where she's pinned to the floor by a roaring, tent-flopping man. Mom always said God will protect her. But what about now?
