About the Author

Patricia Gott is a retired businesswoman. From her home outside a small town in Maine, she seeks out life experiences that have taken her to five continents and forty-seven states. Among her adventures she went on a 10-day horse safari in South Africa; this is her story as told by the horse she rode.
Ms. Gott started riding at the age of eight and has owned, raised, and trained horses ever since, accounting for her knowledge and experience with horses as detailed in her cowgirl books and children's horse stories.
This is her eleventh book.
