EL POLLO LOCO CHICKEN ...

I've always loved the marinade used on El Pollo Loco's chicken, but could never figure out what gave it the unusual flavoring until I found their "authentic" recipe. Undertones of CITRUS with a little garlic and that special spice which gives it that wonderful flavor! Even though it's traditionally used on grilled chicken, I've also baked my marinated chicken in the oven too. It's especially good with my pineapple-mango salsa (on my Fresh Salsas recipe sheet).
