About the Author

Michael A. Barsamian is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and advanced graduate credits. He entered the field of Vocational Technical Education to prepare his students for their technical careers. Mr. Barsamian has taught board drafting, residential drafting, CAD drafting, and print reading for machine trades. In addition, he has provided consultation and customized training to machine shops and other related industries.

Richard Gizelbach is a former instructor of Machine Shop and Computer Numerical Control Programs at Gateway Colleges in Kenosha and Racine, Wisconsin. Mr. Gizelbach holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Vocational Education degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, along with a Specialist Certificate in Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In addition, Mr. Gizelbach has worked as a machinist for Nordberg Mfg. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has developed and taught custom in-plant courses for Gateway and Milwaukee Technical College for several companies throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Mr. Gizelbach currently teaches courses and seminars on overhead and mobile cranes throughout the United States for Konecranes.
