Mellyssa Angel Diggs was born and raised in Chester, Pennsylvania. She currently resides in Southern California. Not only is she an avid poet/writer, she is also a freelance graphic designer. She is an artist who lives by her own rules and defines her own creativity. She explores the world through using her hands, leaving everything else to the imagination. Her art connects her between two worlds... creativity and the heart.

Mellyssa finds her escape through art and writing. This is where she finds her voice...on a blank sheet of paper, a blank template, or objects she comes across. She refuses to limit her artistic expression. Mellyssa always had this mind set that she can do anything she sets her mind to. She did not become an artist to allow people to do things for her, but to pass along her concept that anything is possible and to bring creativity and possibilities to the minds and hearts of people around the world.
