L.I.F.E. with Dr. G Children's Edition, L.I.F.E. Kids Crew, aims to plant seeds of positivity in the lives of our children to help them grow and fulfill their purpose, while promoting healthy living.
Like adults, children too have emotions and can experience varying levels of stress from things happening to them or around them. It is important to teach children early on that not only is it acceptable to have emotions, but also how to effectively manage those emotions. Healthy coping mechanisms can contribute to positive relationships, good social skills, and overall physical and psychological well-being.
In this edition of L.I.F.E. Kids Crew, the team encourages children to practice self-regulation skills with 1-2-3...Breathe! Breathing exercises can help reduce the chances of making poor decisions, engaging in inappropriate behavior, or expressing negative comments. Taking a moment to breathe allows children to calm down and relax their minds and bodies, and in turn, decrease stress and make good choices.
