Originally an innovative marketing strategy turned into a how-to guide in running a quality restaurant. Author Ricardo Pompa was the GM of an italian restaurant in the heart of the landmark Bund area of Shanghai. His innate disposition towards 5 star service is put to the test again and again as he strives to raise the standards.
What began as a daily blog on WeChat, China's massive social media platform, expanded so that each of the 100 consecutive days highlights a key aspect of restaurant operation: Standards, Systems, Team Building, Leadership, Cultural Awareness, Vendors and Clients.
