Overview

The fifteenth (!) novel in the New TOM SWIFT Invention Adventures series.

Just two years ago Tom Swift and his best friend, Bud Barclay, journeyed through a wormhole and nearly lost their lives investigating a black hole phenomena. After returning Tom sent an unmanned reconnaissance probe back there to keep an eye on things.

The time has come to replace it before it "dies." But, when he does the first of the videos sent back reveal something so startling that Tom isn't certain what to believe. The probe shows him something Tom knows had to be in the past.

What might it mean? The first thought he has is some sort of time fluctuation has occurred. He is hesitant to refer to it as "time travel."

But, what if that is exactly what it is? Is it something that can be replicated and used on Earth. Or, can the source of the phenomena be taken from its location back to Earth? Tom can only imagine the possibilities and sets out testing in until a personal tragedy forces him to try something radical.
It isn't for the weak at heart, and it isn't something he wants to do, but he must.

About the Author

Victor Appleton II is a house pen name for a group of authors who have written various incarnations of Tom Swift. His "father," Victor Appleton, wrote the first adventures almost a century ago.

Now, Thomas Hudson has embarked on a single-author series taking Tom into the 21st century with all new adventures. There are 15 novels in the series as of the end of 2015 with at least 5 more planned, and the possibility of up to 30 before the author runs out of ideas.

Also by Mr. Hudson are several series of collections of novellas about: ANNE SWIFT, his mother's secret FBI work; DAMON SWIFT, his father's more recent, and more fun, inventions; many of his lesser known inventions and ones that just appeared but without much explanation of how they ever came about; stories dedicated to each of the secondary characters in the Tom novels of the 50's, 60's and early 70's; stories about the Young Tom Swift and his first inventions starting when he was just nine years old; and THE TOM SWIFT MOON SAGA, with three (so far) novels co-written with author Leo Levesque and set in and around a lunar colony built by slave labor and how they became self-governing and a free state; and others!
