About the Author

James has been working in the Graphic Arts industry for his entire career. He has traveled the globe working on a variety of projects and has written many articles for several Graphic Arts trade publications on Industry Trends. James embarked on his educational journey with a passion for Printing Technology & Management, starting at a young age. He began his formal education in this field at Thistletown Collegiate in Toronto, Canada, focusing on Printing Technology during his high school years. He continued to deepen his knowledge and skills at GBC College in Toronto, dedicating three years to study Printing Technology, followed by a year at Ryerson University, where he specialized in Graphic Arts Management. His thirst for knowledge didn't stop there, and James further enhanced his expertise by completing three semesters focused on Printing Technology Trends at Heidelberg University in Germany.
James's interests include photography and travel, and he has logged over 600 scuba dives globally as an Advanced Diver. James has written a compelling personal story about his experiences living and working in the Middle East, setting up a large printing company and an international Middle Eastern Graphic Equipment and Supply Company, still operating today out of Dubai, UAE. His experience ended badly, and through that process, he learned a great deal about the culture, language, religion, and legal system of the Arab culture.
