Rebecca Shafer is an attorney and risk consultant specializing in workers’
compensation cost containment. For over 25 years, she has helped companies
reduce workers’ compensation costs. She is the author of Workers Compensation
Management Program: Reduce Costs 20% to 50%.

Rebecca developed and patented the first automated, web-based workers’

Workers Compensation Resource Center at www.lowerwc.com a resource for
employers with high workers compensation costs.

Formerly with Marsh & McLennan, she developed the consulting program, trained
consulting staff in injury management techniques, monitored workers’ compensation
consulting projects, and worked directly with companies of all sizes. As CEO of

containment into marketing strategies for middle market and risk management
accounts, and participated in product development teams.
