A series of photographs by visual artist F. A. Rodriguez, returning to the Big Apple in a nostalgia infused trip to the place where he lived most of his life. A visit to Greenwich Village his old neighborhood, revisiting the places that made New York City a mecca for the counterculture of the 1960's. The place where you could run into some of the Intellectual luminaries of the times. Poets, writers, folk singers, and many more of the sixties stars. People liked Allen Ginsberg, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Jose Feliciano, my friends Max Pastrano, the late William Alves, aka: Buck Ramsay and many more. A visit to Hudson Yards and a Broadway show. Plus, a look at some of the new buildings in that area. Also, a few pictures of the new forms of graffiti that are coming up in the city. We hope you liked some of those memories.

About the Author

F. A. Rodriguez was born in the Dominican Republic, in 1964 he moved to New York City while still in his teens. He was a long time resident of Greenwich Village. In 1968, he married Angeline M. Dulik, they have a daughter born in 1978 in NYC. The artist holds an Associated and a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts. Painter, Writer, Photographer, award winning director with his environmentally oriented film: 'Freewheeling, Bicycling in NYC". He is also a published author with his books: Co-author with Don Humberto Soto-Ricart of the 'General Catalog of the Museum of the Dominican Man'. He published 'The Cosmic Ballet': Oil paintings, Watercolors, Ink Drawings. With an Introduction by Don Humberto Soto-Ricart and a Foreword by the Puerto Rican artist Luis Carrasquillo. His book of photographs 'Twin Towers Remembered', is now part of the permanent collection of the National September 11, Museum and Memorial. A volume II of photographs of the Twin Towers was published at a later date. His other books: 'My New York A Visual Memoir': Oil Paintings, Prints, Watercolors and Ink Drawings. His 'Visual Social Commentary', was also published: Oil Paintings, Drawings, Watercolors. Also, 'The Hose Veeris Project', Selected Poems 1965-2001, was published. Recently release his books of photographs: 'United Kingdom Vacation' - September 13-26, 2018. And 'A Day In Deadwood, S. D. September 12, 2021. His art has been exhibited in Museums and Art Galleries.
