The book has 52 words to share weekly with your student or youth. Each word has 4 sections to break down the meaning and apply it to the daily lifestyle of the youth. The breakdown is based on Clarity Creative Institute’s “C4 Method to Digital Literacy© which are CLARIFY, CONSTUCT, COMMUNICATE, and CONNECT. Each word is accompanied by a definition, a quote of wisdom, and brief summary. Also, we have accompanied each word with a text version to send to cell phones (the most widely mode of communication among youth Pew Internet 2010) as a word of wisdom to reach youth via 21st Century Digital Media.

So whether you text, e-mail, Facebook, Twitter or share a kind word to inspire someone’s day, It is the hope of Clarity Creative Institute that these words are applied to the everyday lives of our youth. These words can be used as teaching tools to share with your students, children, or other youth to utilize daily.
The book is divided into four sections with a poem that unites the words used in that section. Find time to discuss these words and the relevance it has with your youth. We hope you can have great dialogue, thoughtful discussion, and direct communication using these words.

Alonzo Edmundo, Executive Social Media Strategist, COO of Clarity Creative Institute and certified Microsoft Office Trainer. Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Marketing from Tuskegee University. Over 15 years of marketing and promotions experience working with small business and large organizations. Social Media Consultant for 7 years working with non-profits, colleges, universities and social service agency to increase visibility and real time interaction with participants and key stakeholders within the community.

Wali Crowder, Senior Social Media Strategist possesses Associates of Arts degree in Social Science from Columbus State Community College and over 15 years of experience in marketing and promotions with community outreach events and festivals. Mr. Crowder has developed digital media products and learning activities for youth and young adults’ academic and social success which is engaging as well as entertaining. Most notably, Wali is a lifestyle promoter, writer, playwright, published poet, rapper, and spoken word artist.
