About the Author

As a young child Pat Hiban was labeled “Learning disabled with Speech Deficiencies” and put into special classes. Throughout his teenage years he struggled to find his purpose failing forward through life and trying everything including 2 years as a 4th string player (benchwarmer) on the lacrosse team. He graduated college with a degree in Sociology and a 2.6 GPA. Jumping into Real Estate straight out of college after being turned down for several corporate sales positions, Pat sold 10 homes his first year ( 6 condos, 1 house and 3 mobile homes) earning a total of $13,200.00

Through consistent application of 6 steps , Pat grew his real estate business each and every year. In 2004 he became the #1 Re/Max Agent in the world and in 2006 he was honored with the same #1 recognition by Keller Williams Realty. He is now one of only a handful of residential agents internationally to hold the title Billion Dollar Agent, having sold a cumulative of over 4,000 homes with a billion dollars in volume. Pat is still active in real estate selling over 250 homes yearly in addition to being an avid real estate investor and venture capitalist. On average Pat takes 153 days off each year to spend with his wife of 18 years and his two daughters and in his book he outlines an exact process that will allow you to do the same!! He lives in a suburb of Baltimore Maryland.
