About the Author

Soshi Kawasaki was born in Ehime Prefecture in 1961 and graduated from Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Science with a degree in zoology. He has worked for game companies including Sega Enterprises and Artoon. His debut novel, Long Arms, won the 21st Yokomizo Seishi Mystery Award. He has since published a wide variety of novels, including Old Games (KADOKAWA), a series of mysteries that take place at a game company, and The Depression of Chief Kenichi Tanaka (Kobunsha), a comedic detective novel.
