A Beautiful Dream

Frank, a young successful novelist and playboy in his late thirties has been living a privileged life of flings and short-lived liaisons in some exclusive social circles of London. One day he dreams a realistic dream in which a very sexy woman seduces him and then reminds him of promises he made in his younger days. He wakes up from that dream in a state of discombobulation that shakes him up and makes him reflect on who he really is as a human being. He is so taken by it that he decides to write down the details of that dream, believing that it could become useful for one of his future novels. However, some time later, he runs across a beautiful woman who looks just like the one in his dream. He follows her and gets in touch. He then consults with Charles - a French friend of his with a similar lifestyle - who interprets his dream as being a reflection of his psyche, or a message from a higher authority intimating that a major change is needed in the way he lives his life. His friend Charles is eventually absorbed into a similar situation that makes him join forces with Frank in their quest for a more meaningful existence. What follows is a series personal discoveries, marked with success and disappointment, leading to the realization that family values and a specific purpose in life are much more important than just fun and games.
