About the Author

LINDA BROOKS DAVIS was born and reared in a small farming community in South Texas. She devoted 40 years to educating and training individuals with special needs. Her debut novel, The Calling of Ella McFarland, won the 2014 Jerry Jenkins Operation First Novel Award and the 2016 ACFW Carol Award. Linda and her husband live in San Antonio, Texas where they dote on six beautiful grandchildren.
