Over 25,000 peer-reviewed articles have been published in medical journals, yet many textbooks used by physicians to provide patient care contain little, if any, information in this area. The author hopes this book will contribute to the scientific knowledge of clinicians and allow patients to be better informed.
Audience: This book is meant for clinicians seeking to learn more about cannabinoids and can serve as a guide for specialists in the pharmaceutical sciences, toxicologists, biochemists, neurologists, psychiatrists, addiction specialists, as well as primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and regulators and policymakers.
