Overview

Eighteen year-old Georgina Claythorne teams up with her boyfriend Jake Hanlon once again to investigate a haunting in Ocean Grove, New Jersey.

As Georgina works to help her father in the newly renovated Claythorne Bed and Breakfast Inn, she discovers a connection between the haunting of an Irish servant girl from 1914 and her ancestors.

She not only must convince her father of the need to get rid of her ghosts before it's too late, but she must also trust Samantha, a mysterious guest with her own link to the haunting.

About the Author

Catherine Greenfeder is a published author and retired teacher in New Jersey. Her interest in ghost stories started in her childhood upon listening to her Irish grandfather’s stories. She’s visited several purported haunted places in Ireland, Scotland, Spain, and the United States and interviewed paranormal experts on ghost hunting and psychic phenomenon.

Mrs. Greenfeder published three romance novels for adults before writing young adult novels. A retired middle school teacher, Mrs. Greenfeder wrote her first young adult novel with the encouragement of some of her students in Cranford. That novel, A Kiss Out of Time, introduces teen ghost hunter Georgina Claythorne. The setting, Ocean Grove and Asbury Park, is one that Mrs. Greenfeder is knowledgeable of and enjoys visiting. It’s also the sight of many strange psychic phenomenon and ghost legends.

When not writing stories, Mrs. Greenfeder enjoys time with her family. She enjoys yoga, art, travelling, and theater.
