"A Hero Who Can Be You!" is a 312-page episodic narrative that crosses the genres of humor, self-improvement, and inspirational fiction.
Storyline: A comical but troubled young knight from Camelot journeys into the future; his quest is to feel and act like a king.
With 50 knightly (character-enriching) lessons in living, this literature represents a mostly amusing, sometimes hilarious, "knight-time" story with a star-studded cast of characters . . . something for everyone . . . especially entertaining and insightful reading for anyone who aspires to become the very best that he or she can be.
Most of the problems in the world are character-related issues. If God suddenly appeared, perhaps at the White House, the first thing the Lord might say is this: "If everyone could read just one more book in their lifetimes, other than the 'Holy Bible,' that book should be 'A Hero Who Can Be You!"
On both the cover and back cover, I have inferred that "A Hero Who Can Be You!" should be considered to be "THE BOOK" in association with the increasingly recognized "NO MORE" slogan and campaign, which brings public awareness to our nation's problems with respect to domestic violence, sexual assault, rape, etc. As long as human beings may harbor ill-will, self-hatred, or feelings of revenge in their hearts, civilized people will be at risk. People who are downright naïve or who don't use good judgment or good common sense at times may also put innocent people's lives, at least other's well-being, in jeopardy.
Violent behaviors such as murder or rape and other felony criminal actions such as spouse abuse, child neglect or abuse, even animal neglect or abuse, have no single solution. It simply isn't realistic to think that all or even most of the weapons in the world could be eliminated. Even if that could be the case, aggressive-minded people would still have rocks, boards, switches, etc. in their arsenal or at least their hands and fists at their disposal. Only with more effective character education, through time, will it be possible to measurably reduce the incidents of crime and violence in America and elsewhere. More people should put their best efforts toward trying to take all weapons out of people's hearts. Let's start here!
