Overview

A Hug For Harriet is the story of Harriet, the miniature donkey, and how she yearns for more attention from the farmer who takes care of her. Miniature donkeys are mild mannered and curious animals that love to be near people. Since Harriet is the youngest and smallest donkey in a large herd, she can never get close enough to get the attention she desires. About the Author

Glenn S. Guiles is Professor and Associate Dean Emeritus and former Director of Music Admissions at the State University of New York at Potsdam. He has taught music in the public school sand at the college level in New York, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Missouri and Virginia. He studied at Ithaca College, Yale and Stony Brook Universities. He lives on a hobby farm in the Adirondack State Park area of Northern New York State.
