A Journey of Reflection, Encouragement, and Motivation
In this book, you will find:

Day 1 begins with forgiving others. So many of us sit in unforgiveness. We pack it up and carry it everywhere we go. Day 100 asks you to forgive yourself. Merrilyn hopes you will find freedom through forgiving others and learn to forgive yourself.

You will also find thought-provoking questions to help you get to know your true nature. You may not like what you find in the beginning. That is expected because we all have things and stuff. It is called life. However, hang in there. Find it, fix it, and move on.

Many of the days end with thoughts? That question is intended for you to be curious and not condemn yourself. The title, A Journey of Reflection, Encouragement, and Motivation, nearly defines itself. In this book, you will be intrigued as you get to know yourself. Each day may have a challenge, a self-reflection, an activity, or perhaps a whisper of wisdom.

Some days, there are Bible scriptures that relate to the subject of that day.

Some days simply have quotes from people that the author admires.

Lastly, days 91 and 99 speak about Love. Love is a verb, which is an action. Action means you have to do something. Love yourself for who you are... and who you are not.

About the Author

Merrilyn has always known that education unlocks deadbolts. Interesting story: Her daily life mentor Patricia West gently told her after she graduated from Kellogg Community College, “Baby, this is only the beginning. You have got to keep going if you want people to take you seriously.” She further stated, “For some reason, society assumes you are super smart and credible if you have degrees.” She went on to say that nowadays, an associate's degree is just like having a high school diploma. Merrilyn thought, WOW!! That knocked the wind right out of my sail. She responded sarcastically, “Well, what about two associate degrees?” However, later that year, Merrilyn enrolled in Spring Arbor University and entered the accelerated bachelor’s program for Social Work. After which, still at Spring Arbor, Merrilyn continued the educational journey and received her Master’s, also in Social Work. Education must have gotten a hold of her because she enrolled in Walden University for an Education Specialist degree (Eds) in Administration and Leadership. Merrilyn received that degree with a 4.0. Some may feel perhaps Patricia should not have said that, but it set a higher standard for Merrilyn around the importance of education. She was right. People take you seriously once they see letters behind your name.
