Narrated by her brother, the tale starts with a young, energetic and tomboyish, Celine who falls in love with a mysterious boy named Calvin.
Life should have been picture-perfect for her but one day, without any warning, Celine, along with her kids, show up at her sister, Cheryl's house. Once there, she leaves her kids, heads out for a job interview, and goes missing for over twenty years.
In these twenty years, Celine finds herself a victim of poverty, jailed and when she finally gets out, she learns that her kids and husband have passed away in a car accident and that her family holds her responsible and hates her for it.
Devastated, but not ready to give up, she slowly starts to put her life back together and even remarries. But her new life brings in new challenges, that threaten to take her husband away from her.
In these dire times, will she be able to move on or would the challenges overcome her?

About the Author

I was born in Green River, Wyoming, and raised in Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. I finished high school but never went to college. I ended up living in Colorado for most of my adult life.
My father worked in construction, so I moved around a lot. I was married twice and had children by both wives, who have both passed on. I started working at age 13 for a sawmill in the mountains, skidding logs on a horse from the forest to the mill.
When I got older, I started running heavy equipment and driving trucks. I had a few small businesses, some successful and some not.
I love to hear and tell jokes; I like comedy!
I bought an 18-wheeler and drove cross-country for some years, which was thrilling. I've driven through all the lower 48 states, and parts of Canada. I am now retired and have moved from a large city in Co to a small town in Co. I've always wanted to write books, so hopefully, now that I'm retired, I can make good on my wishes.
