Reverend Shannon Little

Senior Pastor, Rev. Shannon D. Little, Jr., born in Nashville, Tenn. In 1980, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. from Texas Southern University, and on April 26, 1989, he received his license to preach from Brentwood Baptist Church in Houston. He received his Master’s Degree in Theology from Houston Graduate School of Theology in 1995 and was ordained at Holy Trinity Baptist Church on May 14, 1995. He is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc, Member of Christian Counselors of Texas Inc, Past Chairman of Dallas-Southern Christian Leadership Conference, Certified Facilitator of Prepare/Enrich, Member of the Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment (A.C.M.E.) Rev. Little has been an educator for the last 23 years in Dallas and Spring ISD. He is currently the Senior Pastor of University Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Houston, Texas.
He is married to Rose Mary Little and they have 5 children: Herman, Justin, Jason, Steven and Charmaine. They also are proud grandparents of 8 grandchildren.
