About the Author

I stood at ground zero in Nagasaki, Japan and I've been to Hong Kong when it was still a British possession. In the Peace Corps. Because I had early experience on a farm I worked with farmers in Benin, West Africa and was training bulls to pull plows and cart.
I am retired from the Chicago Public Library and I live near the Caribou National Forest.
Four wheelers and snowmobiles go by my place during the appropriate seasons.
