This book was compiled to give heart felt messages to encourage, inspire and empower a new generation of young women. After the murder of Clark Atlanta University student Alexis Crawford, at the hands of her roommate and her roommate's boyfriend, the authors felt compelled to share their stories of faith, perseverance and the ability to overcome all situations in hopes that young women would know that any trial could be turned into a triumph. It covers various topics such as faith, love, abuse, marriage, divorce, death, molestation and a host of other issues. These issues however did not hold these women hostage. Their strong faith and determination to press forward enable the authors to overcome and succeed in life, love and careers. The authors are comprise of a diverse group of women who are/were a part of a membership organization of mothers with children between the ages 2-19.
