Overview

In the future global warming, resource shortages and terrorism lead to a world governed by a master race of genetically engineered humans who keep themselves isolated from those they consider inferior behind "The Wall".The master race comes to believe that the inferior race on the other side of "The Wall" is a threat to them, and Valdor, their leader, seeks to destroy them all. Valdor never believed that Krodok, one of the five Enforcers designed by the Council on Usefulness, would be a threat to him after he banished him to Luna 1, the moon prison. Krodok has no choice but to make new friends of the so called "inferior race" at Luna 1. He is consumed with finding a way to escape the moon prison and having his revenge on Valdor.

About the Author

Miles Halcomb grew up on a farm and rode the school bus 10 miles to Pond Creek-Hunter High School in rural Oklahoma. He worked on the farm until graduation. He was then employed at a grain elevator in Enid, Oklahoma and threw the chain on a drilling rig to help put himself through Oklahoma State University. At O.S.U. he majored in Radio, Television and Films and interned at the college radio station writing and selling ads and occasionally doing voices for the ads. He then attended law school at the University of Oklahoma.

Finally in 2016, he began to pursue the creative dreams that he had left behind and finished the first draft of his science fiction novel "A Perfect World." He began the novel in 2000 but did not have time to finish it until he tried to establish a rural law practice that failed and gave him the time to write. He joined the Enid Writers Club and gained the support he needed to finish his first medium length novel.

A second novel is in the works.
