About the Author

Sally Alter knows the impact of mental health on our physical well-being. As an RN who’s no stranger to loneliness herself, she thinks that everyone can benefit from guides designed to help people through the tougher times in life. With a goal of writing informative, helpful books, she also strives to be a comforting voice for anyone, regardless of what they’re facing. The applicable, practical advice in her books helps readers face the more difficult aspects of living.

Sally was born in England, but currently resides in Texas. She plans to put her RN knowledge to good use in her books. She’s written two books on bipolar disorder – “How to Live with Bipolar” and “Bipolar 1 Disorder Rescue Plan” - and also published “A Practical Guide to Overcoming LONELINESS” in August 2022. She is currently working on a collection of poetry scheduled for release in September 2022. Her credentials include: being the past editor of Illuminations—Schreiner University's International e-journal. Her poetry has been widely published in Illuminations, The Muse, The Texas Poetry Calendar, Houston Poetry Anthology, Austin International Poetry Anthology, The Kerrville Daily Times and The Hill Country Community Journal.
