""Spirituality is in vogue today," reads the opening sentence of Marmion's study (xxxix), and with this vogue has come a plethora of literature on the subject and a great variety of interpretations of just what spirituality means, ranging from "new age" self-help therapies to very ancient Buddhist meditation techniques.
