About the Author

Sara C. Kelly is a biracial mother of two who resides in Silver Spring, MD. As a former Spanish teacher, she really understands the importance of treating everyone as an equal human being inside and outside of the classroom. Sara Kelly wrote this book after her eldest daughter experienced racial discrimination at a school awards ceremony. This event is actually featured in this book as well as other racist practices.
