About the Author

Charles Boothby was born in New Hope, Ohio in 1945. One of eight children, he moved to Mt. Orab, Ohio at the age of five and spent his childhood surrounded by cars and people who loved them. This fueled his love of vehicles and helped him learn to build and repair them. It also encouraged him to develop creative and innovative ways of customizing them so that they were like no one else’s. Little has changed since those early days. He still has a passion for cars, and he still lives in his hometown of Mt. Orab with his wife Dorothy.
