Growing up in East Los Angeles I grew up surrounded by animals. Yes, we were the house that had chickens, my youth was filled with more joy because of that. One of my best childhood memories was when I went to visit my uncle at his farm. This small book is based on my memories of my visit him to his farm. One of the many memories, I cherish till this day. He and my father passed away after covid and there absence caused many tears and this was my way remembering them both.

About the Author

Growing in East Los Angeles I always felt different from other kids. I didn't seem to fit in not because of how I dressed but because of how I grew up. One of the things I loved about my childhood was the fact I grew up having chickens and it was from that young age that I began to dream of owning a farm. It hasn't come true yet but maybe it will , I might be older now but the little girl in me still wants to live in a farm and raise chicken.
