Overview

In a house on a butte in Devil's Club, Alaska, where one can breathe in the sea and count the stars one by one, live the Salmon women. Angelica Salmon owns the Devil's Club Apothecary which was founded by her grandmother Millicent, who had left behind a life in Salem to learn the ways of the great wide land, Alaxsxaq.

Angelica and her daughters lend their contributions to the place called Devil's Club, where many different wanderers find their lives curiously intertwined. One such wanderer, a strange man named Adam Mann, finds his way in and brings with him revelations of condemnation. Without quite understanding why, Angelica finds herself in the midst of a trial which sets her world aflame.

With everything at stake, she must consider if she truly has a place in this great land or if she simply must let herself be driven away by those who do not understand. But Devil's Club is a place like no other, a place where even fate walks lightly.

Something evil has indeed come to Devil's Club, and it is all about the Salmon women.
