About the Author

K.J. Russell is an author of speculative fiction based in Houston, Denver and Colorado. His novella, Absolute Tenacity, has been described as "the kind of story that force feeds you bits and pieces, slowly filling your psyche with reveals and snippets of underlying horror, until the needle is brandished and you (along with the story) pop violently with a raw, unexpected ambivalence." As the Director of Publications for the Houston Writers Guild, he has edited two anthologies of local talent. The "Tides of Possibility" science fiction anthology is on sale now, and it's sibling book, the "Tides of Impossibility" fantasy anthology, will be available in Spring of 2015. K.J. Russelll regularly appears at readings, conventions and community events throughout Houston. He also leads workshops at the Writespace studio and studies at the University of Houston.
