About the Author

Cephas is currently the Chief Play Officer for the Play Institute. The Play institute aims to further the development of products, insights, methods and practices relating to playing and learning. Cephas is taking his 20 years of multidisciplinary experience across the media and toy industries and combining his design and illustration skills with his love of creative writing to produce a series of books to inspire a playful approach to learning. This is the first book in the series. He is also currently working on multiple fiction books and games involving new IP's for kids of varied ages, mostly because he cannot stop conceiving and creating, and it means he gets to work and collaborate on these projects with his wonderful wife and his 3 amazing kids. This book, in particular, was inspired by his son Maximus. And also by the children's books his father created in the 1960s. This book was designed, illustrated and written by Cephas, with support from his friends and family.
