About the Author

Tia Haynes began using short-form poetry as a means of memoir while in her early years of motherhood. Her first book, leftover ribbon, chronicles those years and was shortlisted for the Touchstone Distinguished Books Award. She currently serves as the editor of Prune Juice: A Journal of English Senryu & Related Forms, and was featured in the Merit Book Award winning anthology New Resonance 11: Emerging Voices in English-Language Haiku. Jonathan Roman was born & raised in the Bronx, New York. Originally an artist, his discovery of literature compelled him to put down his pencil & pick up the pen. He now tells stories & writes poems.
