About the Author

Chris is a lifelong resident of Hattiesburg, MS. Since his teen years, Chris has had a great passion for helping others, especially men and young men, discover their significance and purpose. Once he began his own personal recovery, his enthusiasm intensified, especially for those who are in addiction recovery.
Over the years, Chris has had the privilege of serving others as a student pastor, a recovery and associate pastor, and as a volunteer at the Home of Grace Addiction Recovery Program in Vancleave, MS. Today, he enjoys pastoring The Gathering Church family, serving youth in the Forrest County Drug Intervention Court Program, and befriending the homeless. He strongly believes in the concepts of “Simple” and being “better together.”
